Advising & Registration
Make an Advising Appointment
Honors advisors will begin scheduling appointments on Monday, January 30, 2017.
Most Arts & Sciences majors with fewer than 60 hours earned, as well as Intended Business, Intended Journalism and Intended Pharmacy majors will be advised by an Honors advisor. Please see the bottom of this page for some exceptions.
If you encounter difficulties making an appointment, please email your Honors advisor or email@example.com. You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours in advance in SARA.
Honors advisors are available for brief questions and consultation outside of the advisement appointment. You will not be cleared for registration during walk-in hours. Walk-in hours do not substitute for the required advisement appointment.
Walk-in hours are available Mondays through Fridays from 2-4 p.m. in Moore College, and Tuesdays from 4-6 p.m. in 137 Myers Hall. Please check in at the front desk for walk-in hours at Moore College.
You can view your assigned advisor's walk-in availability on SARA. If you no longer have an assigned Honors advisor, you may come during any walk-in time.
ALL Arts & Sciences majors with over 60 hours earned MUST be advised by the major department; no Honors appointment is necessary. You may come to walk-in hours with Honors-specific questions following your major advising appointment.
The following Arts & Sciences departments begin advising majors before 60 hours are completed:
STUDENTS IN ALL OTHER SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES (e.g. Education, Engineering, FACS, SPIA) must see their college advisor to be advised for registration. You may come to walk-in hours for Honors questions or follow up with an Honors advisor as needed.
INTENDED BUSINESS majors who are applying to Terry this semester will NOT be advised by Honors. You will be advised by your Terry major advisor following acceptance.
