The Jere W. Morehead Honors College began in 1960 with a handful of classes and about 40 students. We now serve more than 2,800 undergraduates each year—including 550 incoming first-year students for fall 2023. Honors students can choose any degree program at UGA, which has 170-plus majors and academic programs.
