The William M. Crane Memorial Scholarship program—focused on current Honors students who display outstanding leadership—is jointly administered by the Morehead Honors College and Engagement, Leadership and Service at UGA. The scholarship offers a $2,000 annual award, renewable for one additional academic year.
Candidates will be rising third-year Honors students (by semester attended, not credit hours) who have displayed outstanding leadership and involvement on campus and maintain at least a 3.7 cumulative UGA GPA. Recipients of the Foundation Fellowship or Bradley-Turner Scholarship are not eligible.
The scholarship is named in honor of William Moore Crane, a 1921 UGA graduate who was influential in the founding of the UGA Alumni Society.
The application is now open. The deadline is Tuesday, March 31st at 12 pm (noon) EST.
