The William Crane Scholars program—focused on current Honors students who display outstanding leadership—is jointly administered by the Morehead Honors College and Engagement, Leadership and Service at UGA. The scholarship offers a $1,500 – $2,000 annual award, renewable for one additional academic year.

Candidates will be rising third-year Honors students who have displayed outstanding leadership and involvement on campus and maintain at least a 3.7 cumulative UGA GPA. Application forms will be available from the Morehead Honors College at the beginning of the spring term, and applications are due annually at the beginning of April.

The scholarship is named in honor of William Moore Crane, a 1921 UGA graduate who was influential in the founding of the UGA Alumni Society.

The application is now open. The deadline for applying is April 1, 2024.
