Through the Honors Interdisciplinary Studies major, you have the opportunity to create a program of study with a defined interdisciplinary combination of courses under the guidance of a faculty mentor.

Honors Interdisciplinary Studies programs are available for AB and BS degrees from the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, and for BSA degrees from the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

The individual major program, listing a description and/or subjects along with specific courses, must be approved by the Morehead Honors College as well as by the college that will award the degree after it is approved by the student’s major professor. Submit the application to the Morehead Honors College before the midpoint of the semester you hope to begin the program. In general, it should be during your second or third year.
