Third‐ and fourth‐year Honors students in good standing are eligible to enroll in graduate‐level coursework (6000+) with permission of the instructor. Students may not register for a course numbered 8000 or higher if they have not completed at least one 6000‐ or 7000‐level course and received an A or B.

For 6000‐level courses: Obtain signatures from the course instructor and the department head and bring the completed form to the Honors Program front desk in Moore College. The Honors Program will grant you a "level override" for the course, and then you can register for the course.

For courses numbered 7000 and above: Obtain signatures from the course instructor and the department head and bring the completed form to the Honors Program front desk in Moore College. The Honors Program will send your request to the Graduate School, who, once approved, will send your request to the Office of the Registrar, who will add the course to your schedule in Athena.

For the purposes of Honors graduation distinctions, a graduate course may count toward the Graduate Course Capstone or as upper-level Honors coursework, but not as both.
