The University of Georgia is celebrating the 15th anniversary of its Bulldog 100 list of the fastest-growing organizations owned or led by UGA alumni, with several Morehead Honors College graduates making it onto the publication. Through risk and innovative thinking, these Honors Dawgs are showing the value of an education both within the Honors College and at UGA.
Jon Ostenson, who earned his BBA in finance and his MBA from UGA, is the founder of FranBridge Consulting, an Atlanta-based agency connecting entrepreneurs and executives with non-food related franchise opportunities through in-depth research and expert advice—with no client fees. Jon is a top 1% franchise consultant in the United States and published his book, “Non-Food Franchising: The Better Path to Business Ownership” in 2022.
Chad Ralston, a finance graduate from ’08, and Charlie Thompson, a political science graduate from ’99 with an MBA and JD from UGA, both made the Bulldog 100 list for their work with ASW Distillery, where Chad serves as chief marketing officer and Charlie as co-founder of the liquor manufacturer. Their award-winning business has made a name for itself in Atlanta, shifting from being a small brewery to a large distillery in less than a decade of operation.
Jeremy Stallman, an international affairs and law school graduate, works with Translation Station, Inc., a global translation, interpretation, and language provider in Atlanta. By combining a passion for service with modern technology, Jeremy has been able to connect hundreds of translators and interpreters with individuals and businesses across the southeastern United States.
Benjamin Osorio, who graduated with a degree in history in ’04 and a JD in ’11, has made an impact with his work as a partner at Murray Osorio PLLC, a national full-service immigration law firm in Fairfax, Virginia. Benjamin and his team serve clients with compassion and experience, and offer solutions and counsel to people, organizations, and businesses navigating the United States’ complex immigration system.
