Parents of Morehead Honors College students have the opportunity to take a more active role in the Honors community through the Honors College Parent Society.
By making a minimum gift of $2,000 to the Honors Parent Society, parents have opportunities to:
- Connect with the Honors community: Engage directly with Dean Meg Amstutz, Honors College staff, current students, and fellow parents. These meaningful interactions offer unique insights into the Honors student experience.
- Attend Honors-specific events: Receive special invitations to Honors events and learn more about the programs and people shaping your student’s education.
- Stay informed: Keep up with campus news, student and alumni stories, and upcoming events through our regular Morehead Honors College Newsletter.
- Support transformational opportunities: Gifts to the Parent Society Fund directly support the dean’s priorities. These include
- Undergraduate research
- Study abroad programs
- Internships (in the U.S. and abroad)
- Student-led organizations
- Professional development
- Service & leadership initiatives
- Receive campus-wide recognition: By joining, you will also become a member of the Presidents Club, recognizing your leadership-level support and deep commitment to enhancing the Honors experience.
Your involvement helps create powerful, high-impact experiences that enrich every aspect of the Honors journey for our students.
