Lunch & Learn: Making the Most of Your DC Experience

Join us for an Honors Lunch & Learn session on Wednesday, February 15 with Mr. Don DeMaria, Director of the Washington Semester Program. He will be presenting “Making the Most of your DC Experience.”
Interested in interning in Washington, DC? Mr. DeMaria will discuss how you can gain valuable experience and best prepare to find an internship in the nation’s capital. Additionally, he will discuss how to make the most of your experience in DC through goal setting, professional development and networking.
Don DeMaria is the Director of the Washington Semester Program and a Fellow with the Society of Experiential Education. He has played key roles in establishing many of UGA’s DC-based programs, including founding the Washington Semester in 2008 and opening Delta Hall in 2015. The Washington Semester Program is open to all undergraduates and operates in the fall and spring semesters each year. The Washington Semester Program awards scholarships to all participants and in 2022-2023, the program provided more than $180K in scholarship support to participants.
PLEASE NOTE: This Lunch & Learn session will be held in Moore 116, not the usual Lunchbox Lecture location.
