Apply to become an Honors Teaching Assistant (HTA)!

Interested in mentoring students who are new to the Honors College? Applications are now open to apply to teach an HONS 1000H (Introduction to Honors) course for the Fall 2024 semester.

The application consists of the following information: 1) general information, 2) the names and email addresses of TWO faculty or staff members who may be contacted as personal references (one MUST be a UGA faculty member), 3) a one- to two-page resume, and 4) a response to two essay prompts. The essay prompts can be found on the Honors website at the following link: https://honors.uga.edu/academics/first-year-experience/introduction-to-honors/honors-teaching-assistants/.

Completed applications and all materials should be submitted via the application link above on Qualtrics. All applications are due by 5pm on Friday, January 19, 2024. We expect interviews to take place beginning in early-to-mid February over Zoom.
