Apply for the 2023 CURO Symposium
The 2023 CURO Symposium will be held April 3-4, 2023, at the Classic Center in Athens, Georgia.
All undergraduates conducting faculty-mentored research are encouraged to submit an abstract for the annual CURO Symposium. You do not need to be involved in CURO courses or funding to apply to present your research—either as an oral or poster presentation.
ELIGIBILITY
- CURO welcomes submissions from all UGA undergraduates who are or have engaged in faculty-mentored research, regardless of discipline, year, experience, honors/non-honors status, and whether they have been enrolled in CURO coursework (i.e., -R suffix courses).
- A student’s research does not need to be advanced or completely finished for the student to present. We encourage undergraduate researchers at all stages of the research process to submit and present their work.
- Students who conducted their research as undergraduates, but have recently graduated, may also submit an application to present their work.
- All undergraduate student participants must have a faculty research mentor. Graduate students, even if they teach courses as an instructor of record, may not serve as faculty research mentors.
