Elizabeth Hughes serves as a student affairs professional, working directly with Honors students throughout their time in the Morehead Honors College. She provides professional development advising in one-on-one or group sessions, helping students as they prepare applications for internships, scholarships, graduate and professional programs, or other post-graduate opportunities. Elizabeth is also the campus representative for the Boren Awards and coordinates the Crane Leadership Scholarship selection process.

Elizabeth was born in Camilla, Georgia, and earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in English education from the University of Georgia. She joined the Morehead Honors College in 2012.
