Emily Ramsey serves as program coordinator for the Morehead Honors College’s first-year experience, supporting students in the Introduction to Honors Seminar and associated first-year programming. She also administers the Honors Teaching Assistant program, preparing the upper-class Honors students that serve as mentors and guides in this introductory seminar.
Emily is from Nashville, Tennessee, and has a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from Rhodes College, a M.T.S. in Hebrew Bible from Vanderbilt University, and a M.A. in cultural anthropology from Hunter College-CUNY. Prior to coming to UGA, she variously worked as an ESL teacher in Warsaw, Poland, and as an office coordinator for an investment bank in New York. She is also a doctoral candidate in anthropology at UGA and joined Honors in 2017.
