Advise Internships
Honors faculty mentor speaking with a student

Honors students may be able to receive up to six hours of credit from the Honors Program for eligible internship opportunities.

As part of the application, the student will have to choose a faculty member to “advise” the student on the creation of an academic syllabus and to evaluate the academic work completed for the internship credit.

If you agree to advise an Honors Internship, you will be listed as the instructor for a section of HONS 4800H or 4801H (or a departmental equivalent), and the student will appear on your grade rolls.

For more information, consult the Honors Internship Course Application packet or contact the Associate Director of Honors & CURO, Dr. Martin Rogers.
