The deadline for application is November 1. The application is available on the Admissions Office site.

Applicants are notified as to whether or not they are finalists for a Fellowship by late January. Finalists are invited to our Interview Weekend in late February. Finalists who are selected to receive the Fellowship are notified immediately after the Interview Weekend.

Finalists who attend Interview Weekend but are not ultimately awarded a Fellowship are automatically offered a Bernard Ramsey Honors Scholarship of $5,050 for in-state students (plus HOPE) and $8,250 (plus an out-of-state fee waiver) for out-of-state students, plus a $3,000 travel-study grant.

mid-term Foundation Fellows

Each year we award a small number of Mid-Term Foundation Fellowships. These are two-year academic scholarships for the two final years of undergraduate study. They include a stipend, travel-study grants, research and conference grants, and a variety of academic enrichment opportunities.

Third-semester Honors students with a minimum 3.85 cumulative (UGA) GPA and two years of undergraduate study remaining after the following spring semester are eligible to apply. The GPA requirement is not negotiable.

Each year's competition is announced via the Honors Program listserv in the fall, and the new application is then available online. The application deadline falls in early January.
