HONS 1000H

Honors Teaching Assistants (HTAs) lead HON 1000H seminars in the fall and spring semesters. HTAs are peer mentors for first-year Honors students, introducing them to curricular, research, scholarship, travel-study, and internship opportunities within the Honors Program, the UGA campus, and the community.

HONS 4000H

The HONS 4000H course serves as the practicum seminar for Honors Teaching Assistants. The Director of the Honors Program leads the course. The course provides an introduction to pedagogical strategies for HTAs and serves as a forum in which HTAs can ask questions, share experiences, and develop sound pedagogical practices.

All HTAs are required to attend a fall orientation and register for HONS 4000H in the fall semester. The course will be taught on Wednesday at 4:40pm (Call #88-319).
