Thomas Lay After School Program

Founded by an Honors Program student in 2006, the Thomas Lay After School Program provides tutoring and mentoring services every school day to at-risk elementary school students in the Athens area.

MATHCOUNTS OUTREACH@UGA

As an undergrad at UGA, Phillip Mote combined his desire to help others with his love for problem-solving in an impressive way, establishing a MATHCOUNTS outreach team to provide extracurricular math instruction and mentoring to middle school students throughout the Athens area.
